Korobbers.org is a culmination of talents and (then) young enthusiasm. Young spent a total of 20 years in the field and lab monographing the asilids of South Korea while teaching English at Wongang University, Iksan and other EFL posts in South Korea.

The initial website, imaging and photography were the gracious contribution of Vincent Prevost, teaching French at Wongang University in 2006. Together, Young & Prevost created a unique website, that at the time, was the first digital showcase of South Korean insects.
